The “beyond” dimension of Bites & Beyond began with its visual identity and photographic campaign. The approach centred on human imagination and the craft of constructing images: physical props, real food, and photography brought seemingly impossible scenes to life.An oversized printed cardboard tomato, a giant chicken drumstick and breaded schnitzels hanging from a washing line introduce a humorous shift in scale and context. Familiar food becomes part of an unfamiliar world, inviting viewers to look twice. The surreal quality comes from staging and making, with the collaborative work behind each scene becoming an essential part of the result.
Photographed by Doris Fatur, the series carries this playful perspective across still life compositions and scenes featuring models.
The photographs also extend into the brand’s physical environment. At Bites & Beyond Food Hall on Zagreb’s European Square, they are displayed as part of an interior designed by architect Jana Piacun, creating the feeling of a small gallery within a welcoming social space.
Bringing together Good Food, Purple Monkey, Foodie and 4Burgers, the food hall connects different tastes around a shared table. The campaign gives that meeting of personalities an equally distinctive visual expression.
